which is now being used for neighborhood purposes. With the exception of expansion of
Woodland Green Park for a tennis court and similar improvements, along with connections to
those park spaces, park dedication will largely be cash. Receipt of the aforementioned
peninsula would provide additional public contact to the River as well as offering a fishing
experience adjacent to one of the Rum's few islands.

10. Trail to 149th Avenue $15,900
By this year, it is expected that subdivision of land will occur north of Co. Rd. 116, midway
between Co. Rd. 83 and Co. Rd. 56. Part of the park dedication requirements should be an
appropriate 1/4 mile trail from Limonite Street at 149th Avenue south to Co. Rd. 116. This
will facilitate neighborhood access to the east/west route the Co. Rd. 116 trail provides.

12. Solstice Park Irrigation $30,000
Currently, residents of the Solstice Park area are cooperating in moving garden hoses and
sprinklers in an attempt to maintain grass in this heavily used neighborhood park. As
indicated, the density of the homes in the area, in combination with some of the poorest soils
in our park system, make irrigation an important requirement for a usable park. This project
could be concurrent with the park expansion to the east when that parcel is subdivided.

16. Central Park Land Payment $29,600
