The Permit Holder shall not process wire by melt operations on the <br />site. <br /> <br />Control of Operations.. All hauling, processing, separating, disposal and other activities <br />incidental to the aluminum processing operation shall be conducted in conformance with <br />state and federal regulations and in accordance with the applicable requirements of the <br />Performance Standards of the City Code and B/W Business Warehouse District. <br />Operations must be conducted so as to minimize noise, safety, smoke, odors or other <br />nuisance concerns to adjacent properties. <br /> <br />.Pest Control. Insects and rodents on 'the site shall be controlled and exterminated as <br />needed and additional control may be directed by the City Inspector subject to all <br />applicable laws, rules and regulations. <br /> <br />Litter Control. The Permit Holder shall be responsible for removing debris caused by <br />vehicles using the aluminum processing facility. Debris removal activities shall be <br />instituted promptly following information of such accumulation. In the event the Permit <br />Holder fails to remove debris within 24 hours of notice of accumulation by the City, the <br />City may cause such debris to be removed. The City shall bill the cost of such removal to <br />the Permif-'Holder and payment shall be remitted within 30 days of the date of such <br />billing. Visual checks for debris accumulation shaI1 be made at least once daily by <br />employees of the Permit Holder. <br /> <br />Aluminum processing Eqt~ipmen.t. All equipment and vehicles utilized in the conduct of <br />business at Aluminum Recycling, Inc. shall be periodically inspected and maintained to <br />minimize noise, odors, safety and fire safety concerns and to assure optimum pollution <br />control. <br /> <br />Water Quality. Surface waters originating outside and passing through or adjacent to the <br />site and run off water discharged from the site shall, at its point of departure from the site, <br />meet all applicable federal, state, local and water management organization water quality <br />standards as they exist from time to time during the period of tl-ds CUP. The operator <br />shall perform any water treatment necessary to comply vOith applicable water quality <br />standards as they exist: from time to time during the period of this CUP. Grading and <br />drainage plans shall be submitted to and approved by the City Engineer. Berming and <br />retention basins shall be installed as necessary to control run off. <br /> <br />Screening. The Permit Holder agrees t0 screen exterior storage of materials in the <br />aluminum processing facility from .public view. The Permit Holder shall submit a <br />screening and landscape plan to the City for approval prior to commencing processing <br />operations, Such screening shall be achieved using grading, landscape elements, and/or <br />plant materials which will achieve at least 90% opacity. Exterior storage of accepted <br />material is prohibited unless properly screened from public view. <br /> <br />Off-Street parking.
