§ 8.3O <br /> <br /> b. System l%epairs. At such time that the owner observes a <br /> malfun~on of the system, the owner shall ~mmediately notify the <br /> plumbing inspector of the problem~, l{equired maintenance shall <br /> be arranged for by the owner to maintain proper system <br /> operation. <br /> <br /> Su]xh & <br /> <br /> a. l~outine Maintenance. Costs incurred for such routine cleaning <br /> as referred to in §8.30.06 shall be borne by the property owner. <br /> <br /> b. Non-Routine ~aintenance. All other costs incurred to maintain <br /> system operability shall be directly absorbed by the owner. <br /> <br /> SubcL 4. Disposal. Disposal of tank p-roping, box cleaning, or other <br />materiM shall be at agency-approved locations. Distribution box cleanings may be <br />disposed of in the individual disposal system, provided the system's operation is not <br />hindered by ~o doing. <br /> <br />8.30.07 Systems inventory. The pl-mbing ~n~pector sh~11, create, update, and <br />maintaiD an accurate inventory of all individual sewage disposal systems within <br />the iqamsey corporate ]~m{ts. Information to be recorded shall include, but not be <br />limited to: <br /> a. Location; <br /> b. Description of original installation; <br /> c. Improvements made; <br /> d. P,~mping records; <br /> e. Soil types. <br /> <br />8.30.08 ]:realth haz,4rds. <br /> <br /> Subdivision I. General All systems which are in a state of disrepair <br />and/or ~mproper]y constructed, or which in relation to existing use constitute a <br />hazard to safety or health or public welfare by reason of either inadequate <br />maintenance or construction, dilapidation, or obsolescence, as determined.by the <br />inspection procedures in §8.30.05 or ~uy other effective section or city code, are for <br />the purpose of this chapter hereby declared to be health hazards. ALl such health <br />hazards shall be abated by repair, rehabilitation, demolition, or removal in <br />accordance with the procedure specified in §8.30.08 Subd. 2. <br /> <br />Subd. ~. No,ice To Owner. <br /> <br />The pl~mbing inspector shall exmm~ne, or cause to be examined, <br />and inspect every sewage disposal system reported as imprope, r]y <br />constructed or maintained in accord with the inspection <br />procedures as prescribed in Chapter 8.30.05, and if such system is <br />found to be a health hazard as defined in this section, the <br />plumbing inspestor shall give to the owner of such system written <br />notice stating the defects thereof.
