Councilmember Beyer stated that it is important that Councilmember Zimmerman be part of this <br />decision and asked if the timing is critical. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski responded that he wanted to inform the Council and action is not critical <br />at this point. <br /> <br />Consensus to hold offon further action on this item until Councilmember Zimmerman can be present. <br /> <br />Case #9: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder reported that the Personnel Committee met to discuss three items: <br /> <br />1) Report on Temporary Corporal Positions in Police Department <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that two temporary work assignments have been added to <br />Officers Kuhn and Way in the Police Department during the time that Chief Auspos is on medical <br />leave. No Council action is required. <br /> <br />2) Consider Reappointments to City Commissions <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder reported that the Committee received requests from several members <br />to be reappointed and requests ratification of their resolution to reappoint the members who have <br />expressed their desire to continue: Todd Cook, Yfll Johns and Tom LaMere on the Park & Recreation <br />Commission; Ken Wagner and Carolyn Nelson to the Economic Development Commission; and <br />David Bawden and Benjamin Deemer to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to reappoint <br />Commission members who have expressed a desire to continue to serve and whose terms expire. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen, Beyer, Peterson. Voting No: <br />None. Absent: CouncilmemberZimmerman. <br /> <br />3) End Probationary Period of Public Works Maintenance Worker Duane Dordahl <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder reported that the third item is to request ratification of the Committee's <br />resolution to affirm Mr. Duane Dordahl's status as a full-time, regular City employee. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to'adopt Resolution #96- <br />327 to end probation for Duane Dordahl and affirm his status as a full-time, regular City employee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahea, Beyer, Peterson. Voting No: <br />None.
