Commissioner Thomd suggested more police patrolling the area. ~ner Thomd asked if there was any fencing proposed in the site plan. Mr. Foster stated that the facility was fenced in_ Mr. Jankowski stated there was a sidewalk on the West side of Xkimo Street. Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner LaDe to recommend that the City Council grant siteiplan approval to ILF. Development for the New Horizon Daycare facility contingent upon compliance With the City Sraffreview letter dated July 31, 1996. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Clmirperson Bawden, Commissioners Deernm:, LaDue, Jensen, and Terry. Voling 1'4o: Commissioner Thorad. Absent: Commissioner Holland. Commissioner Thomd explained his opposition in that the residents present~ a good case and there should be at least a stop sLma for safety reasons. Chairperson Bawden suggested the City Council mak~ a recommendation to the Police Department. COMMISSION l/slPlYr None.
