Chairperson Bawden explained the length of the internal approval proc. egg for banks. <br /> <br />Mr. Johnson stated this would be a drive-up and walk-in fadlity, with adequate parking. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer stated that a paved parking lot would be a better option. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner ~ and seconded by Commissioner Thomd to recommend Council <br />approval of the iaterim Use Permit as submitted. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners LaDue, Thorud, Deemer, Jensen, <br />and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Cornmiqgionel' I-tolland. <br /> <br />Case <br /> <br />Request for Sketch Plan Review of Hunt Addition; Case of FIorenee and Harold <br />Hunt <br /> <br />Zoning 2~dministmtor Sylvia Frolik explained that the property was located at the southeast intersectidu <br />of County Road g63 and County Road #5. She explained ~hat the property is a farm]y estate, <br />approxirrmely 40 acres in size, proposed to be split into three lots. Ms. ~Frolik explained that Lots 2 and <br />3 will accommodate ex/sting homesteads for Florence Hunt and her san, Harold; and Lot 1 w~l be <br />conveyed to another son_ ; · <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik explained that the three lot minor subdivision is in conformance with the 4 in 40 density <br />zoning, However,~the mir~murn lot size in the Rural Service Area is ten acres and Lots 2 and 3 are eight <br />and three acres respectively. Ms. Frolik explained that the proposed lot sizes are in accordance with a <br />family agreement a~ to the division of the estate. City Staffis recommending approval of a variance ofthe <br />minimm lot size ~s it does not violate the 4 in 40 density zoning restrict~n <br /> <br />M~ Frolik ex-plain,ed that they have received inf~ from Anoka County and they are requesting an <br />extra27 feet of right-of-way south of the center line of CountyKoad g63. The County is also requesting <br />that ail trees in the County right-of-way at access points be removed to accommbdate sight distance <br />requirements. Ma rFrolik explained that the City ~ waive the transportation impact fee in exchange for <br />the extra 27 feet o£right-of-way. <br /> <br />iZlarold Hunt, 17555 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., stated that he had no-problem removing the trees, but <br />was not sure of~e location of the 27 feet. Mr. 7ankowslcJ expI~ined fhnt there is currently 33 feet ca~ <br />right-cae-way, and now Anoka County wants 60 feet south of the center line ofT.Iq_//63.
