Sirtee someone w~uld be in the units overnight waiting for serdce, they want to provide a location for these customi~rs to remain on-site. He added this relates to a product line of a less mobile recreational vehicle in the future. ComnSssioner Holland stated he would not support consideration tonight of overnight parking. Ms. Frolik suggested [this type of activity could be considered as a CUP-type of use. Also, the Outlot designation woul~l have to be allrn~nated and replatted as a lot and block in the future. Mr. ~iger pointe~ out the location of the pylon sign on the comer of the site. He displayed a colored computer generated image of the building exterior and sign which extends above the roofllne of the building and incorporates a 3-D motorhome-shaped sign into the architecture of the building. Ms. Frolik statO that roof signs are protu'oited but the Code may address structures that are architecturally ingegrated into the bui/ding design. Chairperson Bawden indicated a willingness to consider such an amendment to the Code. Commissioner HOlland stated he believes this is an attractive building. Motion by Comm~sioner I-Ia[land and seconded by Commi.~sioner Jensen to recommend that City Council grant sit,plan approval to 8horewood 1LV. contingeat upon compliance with the City Staff' review letter dasd September 26, 1996, and discussion held tonight. Further discussion: Commissioner Deemer inquired regarding the location of lot lines. Mr. I-rtlger pointed out the lbcations and explained the building will be located all on one lot. Case #5: eport .to Planning Commission on Trunk Highway #47/Sunwood Drive onnectlon City En~neer Stcven Jankowski noted that on September 19, 1996, Commissioner Deemer requested a cost comparison of the "ESS" curve alignment proposed in the T.I-I. ~/47 corridor study with the previous alignm~t which connected Sunwood Drive clke~y to 147th Circle.
