26. <br /> <br />Should any discrepancy be claimed in articles of value returned to the owner, the <br />officer in command shall investigate the circumstances and report their findings to <br />the Chief. <br /> <br />27. <br /> <br />Section 23. <br /> <br />No member shall answer a fire call unless properly dressed in turnout gear. <br />T ~urmout gear consists of helmet, hood, coat, bunkers, boots, gloves, and Self <br />Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) when required in accordance with the <br />standard operating procedures of the Department. <br /> <br />Pay Increments <br /> <br />1. Pay i~crements are based on the following scale and will be paid quarterly to active <br /> members of the Ramsey Fire Department. <br /> <br />Fire Calls: 0-1 Hours 1 Increment <br /> 1-2 Hours 2 Increment(s) <br /> 2-3 Hours 3 Increment(s) <br /> 3-4 Hours 4 Increment(s) <br /> 4-5 Hours 5 Increment(s) <br /> 5-6 Hours 6 Increment(s) <br /> etc. (,per hour) <br />Functions: 0-4 Hours 1 Increment <br /> <br /> 2. Attendance at the following will be eligible for increments: <br /> <br /> Fire Calls Functions: <br /> Regular Department Meetings <br /> Training Classes <br /> Fire Drills <br /> Fund-Raising Activities <br /> Public Functions <br /> <br /> 3. Each 'member will be responsible for signing and submitting to the Chief a Record of <br /> Atten4ance form for quarterly payment. <br /> <br /> 4. All meetings eligible for payment must be authorized by the Chief. <br /> <br /> 5. The value of an increment is determined by the City Council. <br /> <br />Section 24. Workers' Compensation <br /> <br />Workers' Compel!sation is based on the nearest full-time fire department's equivalent position <br />pay guidelines. ~urrently, the City of Anoka Fire Department is used as a comparison for the <br />Ramsey Fire Department.
