Councilmemb~r <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g96-03- <br /> <br /> RESOLU.~!ON TO RESCIND RESOLUTION g96-01-027 ADOPT AMENDED <br /> FINDINGS OF FACT # TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM <br /> ~ INDUSTRIAL TO R-1 URBAN RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br /> WHEI~EAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br />with Section 9.~}3.03 of the Ram.qey City Code; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSE,, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That G~d Value Homes, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied to <br /> rezone {ertain property from Industrial to R-1 Urban Residential. <br />2. That th~ Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of <br /> the Cit~ Code on January 10, 1996 and that said public hearing was properly advertised <br /> and thai the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />3. That tha property proposed to be rezoned was legally described as follows: <br /> <br /> The North Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 27, Township 32, Range 25, <br /> 3.noka County, Minnesota, EXCEPT the following described tract: <br /> <br />o <br /> <br /> That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 27 <br /> described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest comer thereof; thence north <br /> 00 degrees 33 mutes 47 seconds West on the West line of said Northwest Quarter <br /> t~f the Northwest Quarter for a distance of 418 feet; thence North 89 degrees 26 <br /> fixinutes 44 seconds East and parallel with the South line of said Northwest Quarter <br /> ~f the Northwest Quarter a distance of 209 feet; thence South 00 degrees 33 <br /> ~ne. nUtes 47 seconds East and parallel to said West line to the said Southline thereof; <br /> ce South 89 degrees 26 minutes 44 seconds West on said South line to the <br /> goint of commencment. Except Parcel No. 8, Anoka County Highway Right-of- <br /> Way Plat No. 16. <br /> <br />Also in_o~_uding that part of the Southeast Qwuarter of the Northwest QWuarter of said <br />Northwe:st Quarter lying northeasterly of Anoka County Highway Right-of-Way Plat No. <br />8. <br /> <br />The tot~ area of the property to be rezoned was approximately eighty five (85) acres. <br />That the ~Subject property is currently zoned Industrial. <br /> <br />That the!properties to the north are zoned B-1 Business and R-1 Urban Residential, the <br />property ;to the east and west is zoned Industrial, and the property to the south is zoned <br />Business::Warehouse. <br /> <br />That the Applicant is proposing to develop the plat with single family urban residential lots. <br />That the City is currently in the process of updating the land use element of the <br /> <br /> <br />
