Monthly Status Report <br /> <br />Complete <br /> <br />Complete <br /> <br />Complete <br /> <br />Complete <br /> <br />Complete <br /> <br />1/10/96 <br /> <br />1/10/96 <br /> <br />1/10/96 <br /> <br />1/10/96 <br /> <br />2/6/96 <br /> <br />The Planning Commission voted to recommend that City Council <br />approve the preliminary plat for Pondview contingent upon <br />compliance with the City Staff review letter dated January 8, 1996 <br />and the DNR's review letter dated December 29, 1995, receipt of an <br />official letter from the County approving accesses, the City <br />acquiring right-of-way on 149th Avenue as deemed necessary, and <br />accesses on C.R. #56 and gl 16 having left turn, right mm, and by- <br />pass lanes. Forward to City Council. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission voted to approve the most recent sketch <br />plan presented for Sunfish Estates (Version B), and directed the <br />developer to apply for a variance and to proceed to preliminary plat <br />contingent upon the Park Commission not requesting anything <br />outside of the road right-of-way. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission voted to recommend that City Council <br />approve the site plan for expansions to the Vance Bros. facility at <br />14021 Azurite Street N.W., to be designed to match the existing <br />structure, and require the south detached building have evergreens <br />(a five foot minimum) planted to buffer. <br /> <br />Regarding the amendment to Chapter 9 of the City Code pertaining <br />to parking and storing vehicles and equipment in residential <br />districts, amend the following: Section 9.11.10, item a, should <br />read "Currently licensed motor vehicles and one unlicensed <br />operable motor vehicle, the primary purpose of which is for <br />private transportation or recreational use may be stored outside <br />provided they are parked on a prepared surface that consists of <br />either bituminous pavement, concrete, con bit or prepared gravel or <br />another equivalent surface material that has received the prior <br />approval of the City Administrator or his/her designee." The last <br />sentence under the definition of "Motor Vehicle, Private Use" <br />should read "For purposes of this Chapter, private use motor <br />vehicles shall include operable vintage/classic cars and race cars." <br />Add the following definitions under Section 9.02 (Def'mitions): <br />"Operable Motor Vehicle" - A vehicle that can be <br />presented in a self-propelled condition within 7 days of <br />the City's request for such action. "Prepared Surface" - <br />The entire area plus a one-foot extended perimeter under <br />a vehicle or piece of equipment." The Planning Commission <br />voted to recommend that the City Council approve the amended <br />ordinances amending Chapters 5 and 9 of Ramsey City Code <br />regarding parking and storing vehicles and equipment in residential <br />districts. Forward to City Council. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission voted to recommend that City Council <br />approve the preliminary plat of Fox Knoll 2nd Addition contingent <br />upon compliance with City Staff Review Letter dated January 31, <br />1996 and discussion determining that Sodium Street be developed <br />with a cul~de-sac.
