! March 18, 1991
Dear ~ouncil Members,

We the Concerned citizens of Golden Eagle Estates feel it is
extremely important that you are aware of our concerns regarding
the Bison St. improvement project (89-13,90-24,91-?). Because of
the turnover in the council after the November elections we would
like'to state our position on the Bison St. project to new members
of the council and reiterate that position to the other members of
the Council.

We Strongly support making Bison St. a through street connecting
with. the Trott Brook Ridge development to the south.
Increased traffic, created by recent developments around Golden
Eagle Estates, uses the neighborhood streets as a connecting link
between the developments on Bison St. to Variolite St., most
specifically 171st Ave. N.W., to Zeolite St. to 169th Ave. and on
to Variolite. This traffic could be distributed more evenly with
Bison St. being made into a through street.

Wha~ we want is an equitable distribution of the increased traffic
coming from the new developments. Keeping Bison St. a dead end is
poo~ planning and against the recommendations of your City staff
(ie~ Planning and Zoning commission, City Engineer. etc.). Please
consider our position during your deliberations on this issue and
mak~ Bison St. a through street. The safety of our children and the
quality of our residential neighborhood is at stake.

Thelfollowing is a history of our experience with this issue up to
thejpresent:

I
I
I
I
I
i
I
I

!
I
I
I
!

i
i
I
i
I
I
