The advertisement was then published in <br />the March 24 aJ d April 14, 1995 editions of the Anoka County Union. The advertisement <br />for bids was aisle mailed to all of the current licensed haulers in the City of Ramsey. This <br />mailing includeJ~l both commercial and residential haulers. <br /> <br />The bids were 4}.pened on April 19, 1995, at the Ramsey Municipal Center. The following <br />bids were received: <br /> <br />Walter'~ Recycling and Refuse <br />Ace Sol~d Waste <br /> &dd-ons: Textiles <br /> <br />First Year Second Year <br /> <br />$2.52 $2.58 <br />$1.27 $1.27 <br />$ .08 $ .08 <br />Aerosol Cans $ .02 $ .02 <br />Box Board $ .06 $ .06 <br /> <br />CASE # <br /> <br />All of the bids late per household, per month. Under the current contract, the City pays <br />$1.27 per household, per month. <br /> <br />Based upon th~ bids received, City Staff would recommend awarding the contract to Ace <br />Solid Waste, it~cluding the additional items, for a total cost of $1.43 per household, per <br />month.
