I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />i <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />EDUCATION POLICY <br /> <br />The current education policy for the City of Ramsey set forth in the Ramsey City Code, and <br />outlined in Resoluti.~n #91-05-097, states that any full-time City employee attending and favorably <br />(C or better) compleiting the continuing education will be eligible for the reimbursement of the cost <br />of tuition and materials as follows: <br /> <br />1. The education must be directly related to the employee's job description. <br /> <br />2. The educati(}nal course must be specifically approved by the appropriate Department Head <br /> and by the Qity Council before the employee commences attendance, and approved course <br /> must be taken at an employer approved facility. Correspondence courses will not be <br /> eligible for ~imbursement. <br /> <br />3. Unless othe~vise agreed to by the City Council, continuing employee education will not <br /> affect thc cm. ployee s salary schedule. <br /> <br />This Education PolieY was adopted by the Ramsey City Council on May 14, 1991. <br /> <br /> <br />
