Mr. Schroeder stated that there is a Council task force discussing Code enforcement issues and we now have someone on staff who is responsible to enforce the existing Code. That individual is going neighborhood to neighborhood and contacting property owners to bring situations into compliance with City Code. We have made a significant amount of headway in the last two months. We suspect this effort will continue through the summer. Notes are also being taken about what situations are not in compliance with the Code and they will receive the attention of the task force. He also reported that Council is apprised of every report written with regard to Code enforcement. CONSENT AGENDA Councilmember Zimmerman asked that #9 and #10 of the Consent Agenda be placed as Case #14 on the regular Council agenda. Mr. Schroeder noted that Item g4: License applications had an amendment. The Lions Club has asked that their request for a license to hold a flea market at Big Shot Cafe be removed. They are proceeding with another project instead.
