ORDINANCE #95- <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND <br />SUBDIVISION i OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, <br />MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.50 "DESIGN STANDARDS" OF <br />CHAPTER 9 O~ THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />The City of Ramse~ ordains: <br /> <br />AMENDMENT <br /> <br />Section 9.50.02 (S~etch Plan), Subdivision 1 (Procedure), item b is hereby amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />At the time of submission of the sketch plan, the subdivider shall pay a non- <br />refundable fee and an escrow deposit, in an amount as determined from the <br />time to time by Council resolution. The escrow shall be used to defray <br />expenses incun'ed by the city in employing the services of the city engineer, <br />attorneys, and other professional consultants in connection with the review <br />of said sketch plan. However, the said escrow may also be used to <br />reimburse the city for the expense of employing the services of the city <br />engineer, attorneys and other professional consultants in connection with <br />the review of the preliminary plat and final plat as prescribed in this chapter. <br />If said escrow is not sufficient to defray the above expenses, additional <br />monies will be required prior to final action on the plat, and if, in the <br />opinion of the zoning officer, the deposit is depleted such that it is unlikely <br />to be sufficient to meet the remaining anticipated expenses, the subdivider <br />shall be required to deposit an amount sufficient to do so, prior to any <br />further action on the plat. If after final action on the proposed subdivision, <br />a surplus balance remains in the escrow account, said surplus balance shall <br />be refunded to the subdivider. The said deposit shall be in addition to the <br />fees prescribed elsewhere in this chapter. <br /> <br />Section 9.50.03 (Pr~reliminary Plat), Subdivision 1 (Procedure) items a, b, d, e, g are hereby <br />amended to read as fallows: <br /> <br />bo <br /> <br />The subdivider shall f'fle five copies of the preliminary plat with the zoning <br />officer at least 21 calendar days before the next regular monthly meeting of <br />the Planning Commission at which meeting said plat shall be considered and <br />at which t/me the required public hearing may be held. <br /> <br />Repealed. <br /> <br /> The city engineer and the zoning officer shall submit a report to the Planning <br />"Commission before the public hearing, which shall deal with drainage, <br />' street and other engineering matters, land use, lot size and dimensions, and <br />~ other matters pertinent to said preliminary plat. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission shall hold a public hearing on said preliminary <br />plat. Notice of public hearing shall be published in the official newspaper <br />of the city and sent to property owners within 350 feet of the property to be <br /> <br />"77 <br /> <br /> <br />
