Motion by Councihnember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to close the public hearing. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Kurak, Strommen, Cook, Elvig, Pearson, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. The public hearing closed at 7:23 p.m. Council Business Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:23 p.m. Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to approve an On-Sale and Sunday Intoxicating Liquor License application for Templer Group, Inc., d/b/a/ JR's Outpost; contingent upon the applicants adequately addressing the current fire code issues. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Elvig, Kurak, Cook, Pearson, Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Mike Hartinger and Jim DuChmzne introduced themselves and their two business partners. Mayor Gamec welcomed them to Ramsey and wished them well in their business. Case #2: Public Hearing and Levy of Assessments for Past-Due Charges on Municipal Utility Bills and Current Services Rendered Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:24 p.m. in order to conduct a public hearing. Public Hearing Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:24 p.m. Presentation Finance Officer Lund explained that the City of Ramsey provides varying services that are billed directly to residents though the mnnicipal utility bill (via Connexus Energy) and through invoices.
