As indicated, the issue is not one of access, but one of allowing National Golf Properties, Inc., to possibly construct, use, and maintain, two hard surfaced golf cart paths; one between Green ~1 and Tee ~2, and the other between Green ~8 and Tee ~9. Typically a golf cart path is no more than 10 ~eet wide. National Golf has expressed a desire to enhance The Links at Northfork by constructing more hard surface golf cart paths between the tees and greens. Our thoughts on this matter are that it would be preferable to delay execution of any easement until the spring since locating the existing gravel cart paths and accurately describing them by survey under snow cover is almost impossible. However, we would ask that the City, at your February 22, 1994 Council Meeting, indicate that they will approve the easement upon proper location this spring. Finally, we would extend our thanks to the City of Rs_~sey for its cooperation to us in constructing and operating The Links at Northfork. We are very proud of this course and the fact that National Golf Properties, Inc., a nationally recognized golf operator, has selected Northfork as its first course in Minnesota, speaks well of its quality. In fact, The Links at North~ork will host the Womens' Western Open National Amateur Championship in June of 1995. we believe this will be the first of many quality events to come to the City of Ramsey.
