Schroeder <br />Cit~, Administrator <br />City of Ramsey <br />15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W. <br />Ramsey, MN 55303 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Schroeder: <br /> <br />In response to your letter dated February 8, 1994, NMMA's Mernbership Committee meet to <br />consider ',,our request as well as review once a~in the overall membership fee structure for the <br />or~lizatlon. <br /> <br />Recall, the Board of Directors adopted a five year membership fee structure, beginn/ng in 1993, <br />whereby the fixed rate member fees will equalize with ti'mt of the formula contribution members <br />over tLme. See the attached memorandum as additional back~ound. <br /> <br /> The Membership Committee ~MII recommend to the Board the continuation of the 1993 <br /> Membership Policy, that is, to armuaity increase membership fees for f~xed paying commun/ties <br /> over the next four year p~od, until all member communiti'e~ have assessed their respective <br /> membership fee on a formula base. Further, th~ will recommend that ail new members coming <br /> knto the Association must pay the formula memb..-~rship fee. <br /> <br /> Therefore, the Committee has asked me to respeeffully request the City of Ramsey reconsider <br /> irs recount decision and renew its 1994 NMMA member by p~,ing the full invoice membership <br /> f~ amount of $8,020.00. <br /> Sinc. erely y~x~, <br /> <br />· Jojs~'~h D.
