CASE

APPLICATION FOR OFF-SALE INTOXICATING
LIQUOR LICENSE BY EASCO, INC.'
By: Police Chief Mike Auspos

Background:

Application has ~een made for an off-sale intoxicating liquor license by Easco, Inc. to be located at
6131 HighwayS#10 N.W. I have received the application from Colleen Rybak and have
investigated the~nformation supplied. I have received most of the information required by City
Ordinance and flor that which is still pending, I have informed the applicant, Robert Eason, that
final approval w~uld be contingent upon supplying that missing information.
f

Proof of liquor liability insurance has not yet been produced; however, I have spoken with the
applicant's insur~ce agent and have been assured that such insurance will be written and in effect
immediately aft~ approval. At this time, the applicant has not drawn up a lease agreement with the
building owner ~ he is awaiting approval of the license. Therefore, another contingency would be
for the provision!of the terms of the lease agreement.

A third continge~.cy, from Zoning, would be that the property, where the building for the licensed
premises is located, be properly split so as to create a separate parcel for the address of 6131
Highway #10 N.JW. Currently, this building is on one parcel with J.R.'s Saloon.

Recommendation:

The investigation of information supplied by the applicant shows no cause for denial of an off-sale
liquor license an!l this report recommends approval.

Council Action:

Motion to apprgve the Easco, Inc. liquor license application contingent upon supplying the
remaining inforr~, tion required by City Ordinance, proof of liquor liability insurance, a copy of the
terms of the lea~e agreement, and creation of a separate parcel for the address of 6131 Highway
#10 N.W.

Reviewed by:

Police Chief :
Secretary Rybak,
City Administrator
Zoning Adminisa'ator

CC:04/12/94 :
