Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION 894-08- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION~ APPOINTING A RESPONSIBLE AUTHORITY AND <br />ASSIGNING DUTIES <br /> <br /> WHERE/t'S, Minnesota Statutes, Section 13.02, Subdivision 16, as amended, requires <br />that the City of :Ramsey appoint one person as the Responsible Authority to administer the <br />requirements for Collection, storage, use and dissemination of data on individuals, within the City; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council shares concern expressed by the Legislature on <br />the responsible u~e of all City data and wishes to satisfy this concern by immediately appointing an <br />administratively qualified Responsible Authority as required under the statute. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council of Ramsey appoints Kay McAloney as the Responsible Authority <br />for the purposes of meeting all requirements of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 13, as <br />amended, and with rules as lawfully promulgated by the Commissioner of Administration. <br /> <br />2) That the Responsible Authority shall require the requesting part>, to pay the actual cost <br />of makingi certifying, and compiling copies and of preparing summary data. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the __day of ~, 1994. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Adminisn'ator <br /> <br /> <br />
