The <br /> proposal is based on the alignment approved by the City Council on July 26, 1994, which is Alternative C <br /> in the feasibility report. The following is the basis of our proposal. <br /> <br /> TASK 1 - FINAL DESIGN, PLANS, SPEC~ICATIONS AND ESTIMATES: <br /> <br />,Final design and detailed plans Mil be Completed based on Alternative C of the feasibility report This <br />alternative was approved by City Council at the regularly scheduled meeting on Jul)' 26, 1994. The design <br />and plan preparation will be completed in accordance to Mn/DOT MSA standards. <br /> <br /> Detailed construction specifications wilt be prepared based on Mn/DOT standard specifications. <br /> <br /> Construction cost estimate spread sheets will be prepared using Mn/DOT standard sPecification bid ~tems. <br /> The estimate 'trill be divided into major work item categories, listing 'quantities and costs for each specific <br /> item~ . <br /> <br />. The Cost for Task 1 is <br /> <br /> TASK 2 - SOI%S INVESTIGATION: ' <br /> <br /> STS Consultants Ltd. will provide, the required soils investigation. 'The Soils investigation is based on the <br /> following: <br /> <br /> Drilling at one location in'each of the two major cut areas, it is estimated that these holes will be drilled <br /> to a depth of 20 feet. ' <br /> <br /> Drilling at eight (8) !ocatious along the alignment. It is .estimated that these holes will be drilled tO a <br /> depth of 10 feet. - ' <br /> <br /> Drilling at three (3) location~ along the proposed "" ' ' <br /> retaining yralI.'..
