Each field sa~np!e was taken using a I0 BT~F (Basal Area Factor) <br />prism. The plots were placed randomly within the designated types. <br />The center cf the plots were placed without including buildings <br />within the plot. Data recorded for each tree was species, DBH, <br />height or nutm~er of usable sawiogs (8 inches or larger on the small <br />end and 8 feet and longer) when applicable, and condition of <br />tree based on condition class for Minnesota Shade Trees, see Table <br />iV. <br /> <br />METHODS <br /> <br />The purpose of %his report ms to provide the s~a=_s=ical data <br />regarding nba tree population of the City of Ramsay.
