S-4 - Rivertlale Drive

Riverdale Drive N.W. is the south Highway #10 frontage road projected to run from the Anoka
City border to approximately Puma Street N.W. Currently a section exists in the Alpaca Estates
subdivision at about Armstrong Boulevard N.W. Also, a section exists between Garnet Street
N.W. to an area close to the Anoka City line. The next section due for completion within the plan
time frame is that section from just west of Garnet Street N.W. to Ramsey Boulevard N.W.,
which will be completed just north of the Rivenwick subdivision located between these two points.
It is expected that this 1997 project will be an assessment project with that portion above the
normal residential or commercial equivalent being funded by MSA funds.

P roi ect Yea r

Riverdate Drive N.W. from Garnet 1997
Street to County Road #56

Funding

$ 455,000 - Assessment-
$190,000 - MSA

$ 645,000

S-5 - Trunk Highway #47, Intersection Improvements

With the projected completion of the River's Bend subdivision, the addition of the Amber Ridge
subdivision and nearby residential and commercial improvements, there is the need to upgrade the
intersections of Trunk Highway #47 at 142nd Avenue N.W. and County Road #5, in addition to
County Road gl 16. Currently there is a MnDOT project proposed for the intersection of Count>'
Road #116 and Trunk Highway #47 for post 1994. There are no additional MnDOT or Anoka
County improvements scheduled for this roadway or connecting links, therefore, it is suggested
that the City set aside $300,000 in Tax Increments funds in order to encourage a more timely
up~ade of Trunk Highway #47 at the intersections of 142nd Avenue N.W. and County Road#5.

.P roi ect Yea r

Intersection of 142nd Avenue N.W. 1998
and Trunk Highway 4/47

Intersection of County Road #5 and 1998
Trunk Highway #47

Funding

$100,000 - TIF

$ 200,000 - TIF

$ 300,000

S-6 - 167th Crosstown

The only collector roadway between t53rd Avenue N.W. and Trott Brook in Ramsey is 167th
Avenue N.W. between T.H. 47 and approximately Jaspar Street N.W. [just west of County Road
4/5]. This collector should be extended west from its present location to connect with Variotite
Street N.W. The alignment will include property acquisition and possibly environmental impacts
which must be mitigated. A future consideration may be a further expansion to County Road #83.
