Contemplated is a tot-lot and playfield development. This <br />neighborhood park will become increasingly important as this area develops and as traffic on <br />Trunk Highway #47 and Count), Road #5 increases. <br /> <br />Project - Prairie District <br />Solstice Park <br /> <br />Year Fundin~ <br /> <br />1994/ $ 29,177 - Park Trust <br />1995 <br /> <br />$ 29,I77 <br /> <br />P-6 - The Mississippi District <br /> <br />Prior to initiation of Riverdale Park there was not a developed municipal park south of Highway <br />#10 within the City of Ramsey, although there is a future 280 acre county wildlife preserve <br />planned for this neighborhood. Started in 1993 and 1994, concurrent with development of the <br />Rivenwick residential subdivision, was park and trail improvements paid out of the Park Trust <br />Fund. Included is a trail system along the Mississippi River connecting to the Mississippi West <br />Regional Park and eventually to the City of Anoka with development as well of a ballfield and <br />playground. This park is also eligible for Tax Increment funds which have been programmed as a <br />portion of development funding. This park will be completed in 1995.
