City Engineer Jaakowsici commenwxt that the DNR has been more resmctive with regard to <br />wetlands. He s~ted he would like to invite a representative of thc permit review agencies <br />to allow input an~ comrr~nt on ail the propos~ aliglU:nents. <br /> <br />M_r. Raadkka statczi that Alignment 2A (west half of the pro]e~t) is deficient for site distance <br />coming to the lefL ALignment 2B is deficient in both situations - the Northeast and the <br />Southwest Quadrant_ ALignment 2C is deficient in a couple of areas. The southern one is <br />very deficient for~site distance. <br /> <br />Mr. Schro~der stated that Alignment 2B is a $70,000 increase from Alignment 2A. He <br />inquired if the der_iSciencies could be resolved with less cost by rrmybe purring a turn lane on <br />the County Road.; <br /> <br />Mr. Raadkk. a sea;ted that if the speed limit is reduced to 45 miles per hour, it would be <br />within the limitm Iqe stated that the mitigation of the wetland would equal 1/'2 acre; <br />however, the majbr impact would be the cost. <br /> <br />Council_member ~qmmerman felt that the alignment h~ a good right angle intersection so <br />$70,CO0 was not ~at much mom.
