Further Discussion: It was agreed that verifying existing bench marks at a cost of $14,000 <br />is not necessary. Mr. Banwart stated that he will check to see if the estimated cost is such <br />that the City will be required to advertise for bids for establishing bench marks. Chairman <br />Zimmerman stated that if Council finds that is necessary to budget for the expenditure, it <br />should not be extended over more than a 3 year period. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: Commissioners Bawden and Deemer. <br /> <br />The Commission recessed at 8:35 p.m. <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the regular meeting back to order at 8:50 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #5: Request For Pre-Final Plat Approval Of Trott Brook Ponds <br /> P.U.D.: <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart noted that there has been a name change and Trott Brook Ponds will not be <br />called Fox Ridge Estates. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the City Engineer's report dated March 29, 1990. <br /> <br />It was noted that the Park Commission is requesting additional width along that portion of <br />the trail adjacent to Trott Brook. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to approve <br />the pre-final and recommend that City Council grant final plat approval to Fox Ridge <br />Estates contingent upon compliance with items contained in the City Engineer's report <br />dated March 23, 1990; resolving the trail width issue along Trott Brook with the Park and <br />Recreation Commission; and providing right-turn and by-pass lanes at the intersection of <br />172nd Lane N.W. and Hwy. #47. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: It was noted that the Planning Commission is of the opinion that a trail <br />corridor should be acquired along Trott Brook that is coincidental with 870 foot elevations. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
