Case #2: <br /> <br />Request For Sketch Plan Review For Manufacturing Building <br />And Site Development For Parabody (Don Greenberg); Case of <br />Dennis L. Sharp: <br /> <br />Mr. Dennis Sharp was present requesting site plan review of a 60,000 square foot facility <br />to be built in the proposed Gateway North Industrial Park Plat 4. Mr. Sharp noted that <br />most of the items in the City Engineer's report dated May 8, 1990 have been addressed and <br />provided the Commission with copies of the updated site plan. <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed and discussed the building exterior, building orientation on the <br />lot and exterior lighting. The Commission suggested that Mr. Sharp obtaining <br />recommendations from City Staff with regard to non-glare exterior lighting. Mr. Sharp <br />noted that it is important to Parabody to have the dock doors facing south to eliminate ice <br />build-up problems in the winter. With respect to the visibility of the docks from the <br />Ramsey Athletic Club, Mr. Sharp stated that he is willing to put in additional screening on <br />the south side and he is attempting to work towards a cooperative landscaping plan between <br />the two facilities. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to <br />recommend approval of the site plan for the Parabody facility as proposed by Dennis <br />Sharp, contingent upon compliance with items contained in the City Engineer's report dated <br />May 8, 1990. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Deemer, Thomd and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Bawden. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Request For Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Participation; Case <br />Of Donald Greenberg: <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart stated that the City has received application for Tax Increment Financing <br />participation for the proposed 60,000 square foot facility to be developed in Gateway North <br />Industrial Park Plat 4 and leased by Parabody. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />recommend that City Council participate with Tax Increment Financing in the proposed tax <br />increment project to be located in the proposed Gateway North Industrial Park Plat 4. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Deemer, Thomd and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Bawden. <br /> <br />The Commission recessed at 8:27 p.m. Chairman Zimmerman called the meeting back to <br />order at 8:45 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #4: Request For Sketch Plan Review Of Park 67 Industrial Park <br /> Addition; Case Of Park Acquisition, Inc.: <br /> <br />Jeff Caine was present representing Park Acquisition, Inc. and requested sketch plan <br />review of the proposed Park 67 Industrial Park Addition. Mr. Caine noted that the plat <br />consists of 4 lots.
