Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Chairman Zimmerman to recommend <br />approval of the draft Horse Ordinance with the following changes: <br /> <br />110.072 <br /> <br />Acreage Requirements <br /> <br />The following chart prescribes the number of horses that can be maintained on <br />the lot sizes shown: <br /> <br />Maximum number of Horses Acrea.qe Minimum <br /> <br />Two <br />Two <br />One additional <br /> <br />horse with every <br /> <br />additional .5 acres <br /> <br />1,5 to 3 acres with site plan <br /> <br />3 acres without site plan <br /> <br />More than 3 acres <br /> <br />110.076 <br /> <br />Site Plan Fee <br /> <br />Applicant shall provide a drawing to scale as well as aerial photos. Absent: Commissioners Holm and Terry. <br /> <br />This case will be placed on the Planning and Zoning Commission agenda for the June 6th <br />meeting. Commissioner Hendriksen stated he will present this proposal to the Council at their <br />June 13, 1989, meeting. <br /> <br />Case #7: <br /> <br />Review Ordinance Which Establishes the Planning and Zoning Commission and <br />the Park and Recreation Commission: <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman stated he felt the Planning and Zoning Commission Ordinance should <br />include a clause similar to the one in the Park and Recreation Commission Ordinance <br />regarding automatic resignation from office after three consecutive unexcused absences. He <br />asked staff to provide mileage forms to the Commission. Chairman Zimmerman suggested <br />this be adopted as a policy rather than an ordinance. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shumway suggested a $10 increase be included for the Commissioners and an <br />increase to $50 be considered for the Chairperson. Mr. Banwart stated this recommendation <br />could be made to the Council along with including it in their annual review process.
