Further Discussion: Commissioner Hendriksen requested that the idea of acquiring <br />property for a public access to Sunfish Lake be forwarded to the Park and Recreation <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Deemer, Bawden and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Shumway. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />recommend that City Council request that Anoka County formally change the name Grass <br />Lake to Sunfish Lake. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Commissioners Hendriksen, Deemer, Bawden and Terry. <br />Voting No: Chairman Zimmerman. Abstain: Commissioner LaDue. Absent: <br />Commissioner Shumway. <br /> <br />Case #6: Request For Sketch Plan Review Of Tooth Acres Addition; <br /> Case Of James M. Martin: <br /> <br />Mark Banwart stated that the proposed plat consists of 108 acres proposed to be platted into <br />20 single family rural lots and one 41.7 acre outlot. The subject property is located south <br />of Hwy. #10 and east of Alpaca Estates. The plat will have to be reviewed by the <br />Environmental Quality Board (EQB), Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and Metro <br />Council. Mark Banwart noted that the property is currently zoned I-1 Industrial and James <br />Martin has applied for rezoning to R- 1 Rural Residential. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the City Engineer's report dated September 26, <br />1989. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Bawden and seconded by Commissioner Terry to accept the <br />sketch plan for Tooth Acres Addition and direct the subdivider to proceed to the preliminary <br />plat stage as per the City Engineer's review dated September 26, 1989. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Deemer, Bawden and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Shumway. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Terry and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to deivate from <br />the agenda order and address Case gO at this time. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Deemer, Bawden and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Shumway. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to deviate <br />from the agenda order and address Case #13 following Case gO. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Deemer, Bawden and Terry. Voting No: None.
