POSITION TITLE: <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY POSITION ANALYSIS <br /> PROPOSED <br /> <br />Property Development Clerk <br /> <br />(7790) <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT: Community Development <br /> <br />POSITION TITLE OF <br />IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: City Assessor and Building Official <br /> <br />PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: <br /> The primary objective of this position is to organize and coordinate new property files and <br /> new construction files, schedule appointments and inspections, maintain market sales files <br /> and respond to general inquiries regarding property files and building requirements. <br /> <br />RESPONSIBILITIES: <br /> <br />A. Organize file cards in Master Log for the Building Inspections Department. <br />B. Maintain and coordinate new construction files for the Building Inspections Department and <br /> the Assessing Department. <br />C. Conduct new construction assessment. <br />D. Maintain and verify market sales comparables. <br />E. Maintain the property files. <br />F. Respond to general inquiries. <br />G Perform a wide variety of tasks (within the ability and resources of the Property <br /> Development Clerk) at the verbal or written direction of the City Assessor and the Building <br /> Official. <br /> <br />TASKS RELATED TO RESPONSIBILITIES: <br /> <br />Organize file cards in Master Log for the Building Inspections Department. <br />1. Schedule and organize daily inspections for the Building Inspections Department and <br /> City Assessor. <br />2. Organize new construction file cards for the Building Official. <br />3. Organize Master Log for the Building Official. <br /> <br />Bo <br /> <br />Maintain and coordinate new construction files for the Building Inspections Department and <br />the Assessing Department. <br />1. Maintain the new construction file cabinet containing all the information for each <br /> property. <br /> <br />Co <br /> <br />Conduct new construction assessment. <br />1. Set up the assessment card of a new construction file upon final inspection by the <br /> Building Official. <br />2. Physically inspect the new construction property, measure and record all pertinent <br /> information on these properties for assessment purposes. <br />3. Submit new construction assessment card to the County and proof-read the County data <br /> for accuracy and make corrections if necessary. <br /> <br /> <br />
