Case #14: <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution Receiving Petition and Calling for a <br />Feasibility Study on Improvement Project #90-13 (bituminous <br />surfacing of Bison Street N.W. South from 171st Avenue <br />N.W. to the Northern Boundary of Trott Brook Ridge <br />Addition). <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the improvement <br />of bituminous surfacing of Bison Street N.W. south from 171st Avenue N.W. to the <br />northern boundary of Trott Brook Ridge Addition. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Cich to adopt <br />Resolution #90-03-085 Rescinding Resolution #90-03-067 approving plans and <br />specifications and ordering advertisement for bids for Improvement Project #89-17 <br />(bituminous surfacing of Bison Street N.W.). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Peterson, Cich, DeLuca <br />and Pearson. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt <br />Resolution #90-03-086 Receiving petition and calling for a feasibility study on <br />Improvement Project #90-13 (bituminous surfacing of Bison Street N.W. South from <br />171 st Avenue N.W. to the northern boundary of Trott Brook Ridge Addition). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Pearson, Peterson, Cich <br />and DeLuca. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt <br />Resolution ~90-03-087 Receiving report and callin a hearing on Improvement Project #90- <br />13 (bituminous surfacing of Bison Street N.W. South from 171st Avenue N.W. to the <br />northern boundary of Trott Brook Ridge Addition). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Pearson, Peterson, Cich <br />and DeLuca. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #15: Introduce Ordinance Regulating Recreational Fires. <br /> <br />Fire Chief Bruce Hoeke and Community Development Director Mark Banwart explained to <br />City Council the intentions of the ordinance. Councilmember Cich asked Chief Hoeke if <br />there would be a 24 hour answering service for those who are notifying the Fire <br />Department of their intention to set a recreational fire and whether or not it was a feasible <br />solution. Chief Hoeke said yes, there would be a recorder to take messages and that if the <br />Fire Department was called to a fire, someone from the Fire Department would play back <br />the messages. <br /> <br />Douglas Fountain - 15255 Garnet Street N.W. - Mr. Fountain feels that Ramsey needs an <br />ordinance to control open burning and that inspecting permitted sites is worthwhile. Mr. <br />Fountain also stated that Police Officers did stop at three fires, two of which eventually got <br />out of control, but were unable to remedy potentially dangerous situations. <br /> <br />City Council/March 27, 1990 <br /> Page 11 of 14 <br /> <br /> <br />
