Case #3: Request For Sketch Plan Approval Of Building And Site <br /> Development On Lot 3, Block 2, Gateway North Industrial <br /> Park; Case Of Northern Die Casting: <br /> <br />Frank Antila of Northern Die Casting was present requesting site plan approval for a 5,000 <br />square foot structural steel building to be constructed on Lot 3, BLoc 2, Gateway North <br />Industrial Park. <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart noted that the Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval <br />of the site plan. He also noted that the development permit will address the issue of the <br />proposed location of Northern Die Casting being located in the Gateway North Airport <br />clearance zones. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to approve the <br />site plan as proposed by Northern Die Casting per the City Engineer's review dated April <br />24, 1990. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, <br />Peterson and Cich. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: Report On Bison Street N.W.: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley reported that per Council's direction, an amendment to the feasibility study for <br />proposed improvement project//90-13 (Bison Stree0 has been prepared and provides for <br />improving Bison with a cul-de-sac versus as a through street. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to accept the <br />amendment to the feasibility study for Improvement Project g90-13 and continue the public <br />hearing to May 22, 1990 to consider same. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: Introduce Horse Ordinance: <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart reviewed the proposed amendment to the horse ordinance. The intent of the <br />ordinance is to prohibit the keeping of horses on lots less than 1.5 acres in size; to require a <br />conditional use permit to keep horses on lots 1.5 to 3 acres in size; and to require a sketch <br />drawing being placed on file with the City to maintain horses on lots 3 acres and larger in <br />size. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Peterson and seconded by Commissioner Pearson to introduce <br />ordinance to amend the Horse Ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson.
