Motion by Councilmenber Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann directing <br />City Staff to prepare a draft ordinance, for Council review, that would <br />implement financing Alternative II (Storm Sewer Improvement Taxing District) <br />for storm sewer improvements. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: City Attorney Goodrich stated that after Council receives <br />the draft ordinance, Council will call for a public hearing, conduct the <br />hearing and then make a decision whether or not to adopt the ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />B. Pronosed ]9R6 MSAS Pro~o.ct - <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that a problem has come in regards to connecting MSA routes <br />northwest of the Weigh Station and requested that this case be temporarily <br />tabled. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg directing <br />City Staff to review with legislators the possibility of having Industry Blvd. <br />designated MSA and to re~ort back to Council. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />C. S~_at{]s Of Tho. <br />Groundwater Invo.stioation: <br /> <br />Council noted City Engineer's report on the December 19, 1985 landfill meeting. <br /> <br />Council noted correspondence from MPG% to Ms. Beale dated December 10, 1985 and <br />January 6, 1986. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox referred to the Minnesota Department of Health water analyses <br />on the Beale well and requested the City Engineer to research what is meant by <br />'qualitative analysis only' and report back to Council. <br /> <br />~ Waltek.. Inc.'s Hamardoum Wamte.
