Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmenbers Sorteberg, Cox and <br />Reimann. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilm~nber Schlueter. <br /> <br />For Preliminary- P._U~_D..D~_valonnant Plan?kDnrova] An~ <br /> <br />Mr. Rick Foster was present requesting preliminary plan approval and rezoning <br />to P.U.D. for the six acres directly north of the proposed County Road #116. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Staff is recommending that the open space requirement be <br />waived as there will be no residential develounent. DNR has no objection to <br />that waiver. It is recommended that the access to the site from Hwy. #47 be <br />sukmitted to Mn/DOT for review and P&Z recommends an additional turn lane being <br />added. ~he project is in the Scenic Rivers Corridor and subject to impervious <br />surface requirements; DNR will consider a variance to those requirements <br />provided there is an adequate storm drainage plan. Staff feels parking has <br />been adequately addressed. ~he plan is consistent with the City Comprehensive <br />Plan. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember COx and seconded by Councilmcmber Reimann to approve <br />the preliminary planned unit development plan and rezoning to P.U.D. requested <br />by River's Bend Properties, contingent upon the developer revising access to <br />the site as necessary to meet the standards of the City, County and Mn/DOT; <br />providing a storm water drainage plan to meet the specifications of the City <br />and the DNR; and the DNR approving the variance to the impervious surface <br />coverage requirement. Further, to introduce Ordinance ~86-4 rezoning the site <br />from the existing U.B. zoning to P.U.D. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
