improve the regulations for pipelines. <br /> <br />City Council took no action. <br /> <br />~ Discussion Re~ardin~ Possible Metes And Bounds Subdivision Of <br /> Ramsey 67 Industrial Park; Case Of Darrvl Fults: <br /> <br />Mr. Darryl Fults requested Council's opinion regarding a possible request for <br />metes and bounds subdivision of 11.7 acres from the Ramsey 67 parcel; present <br />owners canmot afford platting procedures and new property owner would plat <br />prior to any development taking place. <br /> <br />Council consensus is that the request is reasonable. <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS REPORTS <br /> <br />1) Engineering <br /> a) Pumping - <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that pipe has beem purchased which will be installed <br />between the highway and the Mississippi River; pump has been ordered to <br />pump water from the 149th area to Skelgas area. <br /> <br />b) City Hall Repairs - <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that he has been working with the Product 7 Group <br />evaluating and cost estimating repairs needed at City Hall to correct <br />water penetration into foundation, walls and roof. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter <br />to advertise for bids for necessary repair work needed at Ramsey Municipal <br />Center to correct water penetration problems. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox <br />and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />c) Water Tower- <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that the proposed location for the water tower on <br />Sunfish Blvd. is not appropriate because of the proximity to the airport; <br />alternate location is at County Rd. #5 and Hwy. #47. <br /> <br />d) Change Order To Improvement Project #86-17, 18 and 20 In Flintwood III - <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that the pipe sizing in Flintwood III is being changed <br />from 8" to 10" to provide more flow capacity to the Industrial area. The <br />change order will decrease the contract by $3,094.00. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Cox to <br />approve Change Order No. 2 to the construction contract for Improvement <br />Project #86-17, 18 and 20 in the Flintwood Hills Third Addition.
