Voting No: None. <br /> <br />3) Administrative <br /> <br />a) Budget Preparation - <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox inquired as to the status of budget preparation. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated he would report back to Council in the near future. <br /> <br />b) Personnel Meeting - <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann and Councilmember Sorteberg requested that a Personnel <br />meeting be scheduled the week of September 2, 1986. <br /> <br />c) General Obligation Tax Increment Bond Sale - <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley recommended that a special Council meeting be scheduled to <br />authorize advertising for bids on $2,350,000 of general obligation tax <br />increment bonds. <br /> <br />Council consensus was to schedule a special Council meeting for September <br />2, 1986 at 6:00 p.m. at Ramsey Municipal Center to authorize advertising <br />for bids on $2,350,000 of general obligation tax increment bonds. <br /> <br />4) Landfill <br /> <br />a) Certificate Of Need - <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that he has drafted a letter to Metro Council expressing <br />that Ramsey does not agree with the content, as well as the tone, of their <br />staff report on the Certificate of Need; that the staff report represents a <br />foregone conclusion that there is a need for landfill expansion.
