Request For A Conditional Use Permit To Ooerate A Manufacturin~ <br /> Business In The B-1 Business District~ Case Of Mr. Scott Blowers: <br /> <br />Mr. Blowers was present. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Mr. Blowers needs a permit to operate a manufacturing <br />business (cabinet making) in the Business District (Kovar building). Council <br />approved a similar request this year; Planning and Zoning conducted a public <br />hearing at which there was no public input; P&Z recommends approval. <br /> <br />Motion by Counc ilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to adopt <br />Findings of Fact 0145 relating to a request by Mr. Scott Blowers for a <br />conditional use permit to operate a manufacturing business in the B-1 Business <br />District. (Please refer to findings of fact file for Findings of Fact 0145). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox and <br />Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter to approve <br />the request by Mr. Scott Blowers for a conditional use permit to operate a <br />manufacturing business in the B-1 Business District at 6043 Highway #10 NW. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox and <br />Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Request For Conditional Use Permit To Operate Ann Early Childhood <br /> Education Center In The R-1R Residential District~ C~ Of <br /> Children Of Hope Early Education Center: <br /> <br />Mr. Bruce Sheppard was present. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Children of Hope Early Education Center is requesting to <br />utilize part of Cross of Hope Church for an early education day care center for <br />approximately 20 children; they are in the process of getting their State <br />license and that is contingent upon city licensing. P&Z conducted a public <br />hearing and recommended approval. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Cox to adopt <br />Findings of Fact 0146 relating to a request by Children of Hope Early Education <br />Center for a conditional use permit to operate an early education center in the <br />R-1R Residential District. (Please refer to findings of fact file for Findings <br />of Fact 0146). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox and <br />Schlueter.
