Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Schlueter and DeLuca. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Vasseur stated that the time consumed on this access issue prohibits him <br />from construction this year; there is now no urgency for the variance to street <br />frontage for temporary access. Mr. Vassuer presented a copy of a letter from <br />Mr. Goodrich to Mr. Pomeraning dated May of 1983 which refers to an access to <br />the property. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich replied that the access referred to was for farm equipment. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox advised Mr. Vasseur that if a variance is granted and <br />temporary access onto an MSA collector street is allowed until 155th is <br />extended, placement of the home should be planned accordingly. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to table <br />Mr. Vasseur's request for a variance to street frontage requirements until the <br />next regular Council meeting and that during the interim, Staff and Mr. Vasseur <br />should meet to prepare an appropriate agreement that would address alignment of <br />155th Avenue NW and proper placement of home. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Inc.: <br /> <br />Mr. Tom Berndt was present. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris explained that Berndt Development Company is requesting to move in a <br />residential 14'x22' garage to be used for commercial activity. Planning and <br />Zoning recommends approval of the request contingent upon the existing garage <br />at 6159 Hwy. #10 being removed, the new garage being used only for cleaning <br />vehicles, that the driveway and parking area be paved and a performance bond <br />being provided. Ms. Norris stated that the conditional use permit agreement <br />should be amended as follows: a) Revise Item #3 to read as follows - 'No <br />outdoor storage of any materials or inventory, other than operable vehicles, <br />shall be permitted.
