Ms. Norris stated that she and the City Engineer recommend final plat approval <br />of Northfork Second Addition along the west side of Lake Itasca. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to adopt <br />Resolution #86-193 approving the final plat of Northfork Second Addition. <br />(Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #86-193). <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mayor Reimann inquired if all items in the City Engineer's <br />report have been addressed. Ms. Norris replied that they have. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers $orteberg, Cox, <br />Schlueter and DeLuca. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Request For Final Plat Approval Of StanhoDe River Hills; Case Of <br /> Ms. Ann Canis And Mr. Tom Skiba: <br /> <br />Ms. Canis and Mr. Skiba were present. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Ms. Canis and Mr. Skiba are requesting final plat <br />approval of Stanhope River Hills; the southern most lot along the river will be <br />dedicated to the City for park land along with a 30' easement along the <br />southern boundary of the property to access the park area. Adjustments will be <br />made to the development agreement and covenance to satisfy DNR requirements. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich inquired if Council had any questions regarding the restrictive <br />convenance and Council replied that they did not. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Cox to adopt <br />Resolution #86-194 approving the final plat of Stanhope River Hills and <br />introduce Ordinance #86-12 revising the flood plain boundary within that plat. <br />(Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #86-194). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Request For Metes And Bounds Subdivision: Ca~ Of M~, Jim <br /> Peterson: <br /> <br />Mr. Jim Peterson was present. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Mr. Peterson is requesting a metes and bounds <br />subdivision of a 20 acre parcel located on Variolite Street NW into two 10 acre <br />parcel that would access onto Variolite. Planning and Zoning recommended <br />approval of the request contingent upon no further subdivisions until a road <br />accessing the lots is provided. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann stated that the policy has been to limit access onto MSA streets; <br />that he might be agreeable to one access from Variolite to serve the two lots, <br />but not two. He would also prefer that the access line up with 171st. <br /> <br />Mr. Peterson stated that with the wetlands on the property, there is only one <br />logical way to subdivide the property into two lots; one access that would line <br /> City Council/November 25, 1986 <br /> <br />Page 10 of 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
