Recommendations were developed for automated collec- <br />tion, single -stream recycling, and dramatic changes for bulky waste <br />collection. <br />Dodge County Scalehouse/Office and <br />Scale <br />Mantorville, Minnesota <br />Dodge County Environmental Services Department owns and operates <br />a transfer station south of Mantorville, Minnesota. The transfer station <br />facilities were in need of upgrades. Dodge County turned to Foth to <br />help with the conceptual design and layout for a new scalehouse/office, <br />new truck scale and access to the transfer station. Foth met with Dodge <br />County staff to obtain conceptual ideas for the new truck scale and <br />scalehouse/office and develop the list of must have's, needs and wants <br />for the facility along with developing an understanding of the bud- <br />get and local requirements for the project. This initial meeting helped <br />Dodge County and Foth develop the framework for the design of the <br />access to the facility, the truck scale platform including customer con- <br />venience features and the new scalehouse/office facility. <br />Recycling Drop -Off Center Analysis & Plan Development <br />City of Ramsey, MN —October 2012 <br />GFoth <br />2-14 <br />
