This equipment is provided for in the 1989 budget and <br />specifications have been approved by the Road and Bridge Committee. The truck is <br />an additional vehicle needed in the Park Department and for snow removal. The <br />roller is a replacement for an old roller that was bought used several years ago and <br />is in bad shape. <br /> <br />13) <br /> <br />Authorize submital of Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) for <br />Windemere Woods Addition, Cedar Hills Addition, and Chestnut Hills Addition to <br />the Minnesota Environmental Quality Board (EQB). <br /> <br />14) <br /> <br />Receive report from City Attorney Goodrich regarding issues relating to park <br />dedication and park fees. <br /> <br />15) <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution #89-02-21 receiving feasibility report for 156th Avenue N.W. <br />drainage Improvement Project #88-28, direct Staff to obtain waivers of trespass from <br />affected property owners, and direct the Public Works Department to complete <br />minor grading and culvert installation to provide a drainage outlet to the area <br />adjacent to 156th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />16) <br /> <br />Approve application from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for a gambling license at <br />J.R.'s Saloon, 6141 Hwy. #10 N.W., Ramsey, and waive 60 day waiting period. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #16: <br /> <br />Resolution Regarding No Wake Along The Rum River; Lower <br />Rum River Water Management Organization: <br /> <br />Council noted that there has been a considerable amount of citizen input offered regarding <br />the proposed ordinance for no wake along the Rum River; that there are terms in the <br />ordinance that need clarification; that the enforceability of the ordinance should be <br />addressed before consideration for adoption. <br /> <br />Councilmember DeLuca noted that the ordinance will place controls on those few persons <br />that abuse waterways; enforcement of minimum wake controls on major waterways in the <br />State does not seem to be a problem. <br /> <br />City Council/February 14, 1989 <br /> Page 5 of 14 <br /> <br /> <br />
