Employer's proposal to suspend without pay. Under <br />Laudermille, an employee cannot lose property rights until <br />after the pre-determination hearing. If an employee's <br />alleged violation is serious, the Employer may suspend such <br />employee with pay until after the pre-determination <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Separate agreements with members of the bargaining unit. <br />Hold <br /> <br />Vacation - Union modifies accrual rates as follows: <br /> <br />Years of Service <br /> <br />Days Off <br /> <br />0 - 5 10 <br />6 - 12 15 <br />13 20 <br /> <br />Wore on holidays -- As Union proposed. <br /> <br />Grievance Procedure appeal Step <br /> <br />Beginning with line 8 ...A grievance not resolved by the <br />operation of Step 1 of the grievance procedure may be <br />appealed by the Union by filing a notice to that effect <br />with the Employer-designated representative. Such notice <br />shall set forth the nature of the grievance, the facts on <br />which it is based, the provision or provisions of the <br />Agreement allegedly violated and the remedy requested. <br />Such notice shall be filed within ten (10) calendar days <br />after the Employer-designated representative's final answer <br />in Step 1. Any grievance not appealed in writing to Step 2 <br />by the Union within ten (10) calendar days shall be <br />considered waived. <br /> <br />(Replace first sentence with) <br />Step 2. If appealed, the Employer-designated repre- <br />sentative shall conduct a conference with the Union and the <br />employee in an attempt to resolve the grievance. At such <br />conference, the Union shall present the grievance in <br />writing signed by the affected employee and the Union. <br />(Second step language remains as is except for changes <br />necessary due to the agreed deletion of Step 3.) <br /> <br /> <br />
