Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: Request For Preliminary Plat Approval For Northfork 3rd Addition: <br /> <br />Mr. Dennis Peck, Project Manager for Northfork P.U.D., was present. <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart stated that Northfork 3rd Addition, consisting of 16 lots, has gone through sketch <br />plan and preliminary plat at the Planning and Zoning Commission level. In addition, a park <br />dedication agreement for the entire Northfork P.U.D. has been negotiated. <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to approve the <br />preliminary plat for Northfork 3rd Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: Request For Preliminary Plat Approval Of North Forty 2nd Addition: <br /> <br />Mr. Richard Sybrant was present. <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart stated that North Forty 2nd Addition consists of 13 lots and the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission has recommended preliminary plat approval. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to approve the <br />preliminary plat for North Forty 2nd Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case //5: Request For Site Plan Approval; Case Of Mr. George Frey (Frey's <br /> Auto And Truck Repair): <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart stated that Mr. Frey is proposing to develop a 40'x66' building of pole construction <br />along Hwy. #10. Simulated brick is proposed to be applied to 50% of the front wall and 45% of <br />the two side walls. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to approve Mr. George <br />Frey's site plan for Frey's Auto and Truck Repair. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember DeLuca inquired if the structure would have perimeter frost <br />footings. Mr. Banwart replied that the building is pole construction and will not have perimeter <br />frost footings. Councilmember DeLuca stated that in the best interest of the City's growth and <br />image, and in order to maintain the investment made by others, buildings of pole construction type <br />should be prohibited along the Hwy. #10 corridor. Mayor Reimann noted that a case for the <br />discussion of pole buildings is included in the agenda; Mr. Frey is complying with existing <br />ordinances. <br /> <br />Motion carded.
