MARKETING BROCHURE FOR INDUSTRIAL PARCELS <br />LOCATED IN THE CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> By: Megan Wald, Associate Planner <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Enclosed in the agenda packet is the marketing brochure Staff created with the help of Mike <br />Mulrooney, from Advance Resources for Development. The brochure was placed in the August <br />issue of the Business Journal. The Business Journal has a circulation of approximately 14,000. <br />Staff has received several compliments on the brochure especially in regard to the useful content <br />and catchy marketing slogan. <br /> <br />Staff is please to report that All-Brite Graphics, a Ramsey business, printed the brochure at a low <br />cost to the City while still providing a high quality brochure. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />All-Brite Graphics provided the City an extra 2,000 copies of the marketing brochure. Staff is in <br />the process of compiling a list of businesses and key individuals who may be interested in <br />locating a business in the City of Ramsey. Staff is proposing to utilize a portion of the extra <br />marketing brochures as an individual mailing piece to the identified businesses and individuals. <br /> <br />Staff is interested in any ideas the EDA may have to most effectively utilize the remaining <br />marketing brochures. <br /> <br />EDA Action: <br /> <br />Based on discussion. <br /> <br />EDA: 9.9.02 <br /> <br /> <br />
