Mr. Knutson has indicated that he will place a temporary, 24 foot wide
blacktop surface on the Phase 2 portion of Ute Street to 153rd Avenue prior to any building
permits being issued in Juniper Woods.

Mr. Knutson stated that when City Council is approached for approval of Phase 2 of
Juniper Woods, the Council would have jurisdiction over determining an appropriate time
frame for replacing the temporary blacktop on Ute Street with permanent blacktop.

Mayor Reimann noted that the proposed agreement does not include barricading access to
Waco Street and Juniper Ridge Drive from Juniper Woods; residents are to call and report
any incidence of construction traffic using those streets versus Ute Street to access Juniper
Woods.

Dorothy Stadfelt - Cautioned that the intersections at 153rd Avenue and Hwy. #47 and
149th Avenue and Hwy. g47 have blind corners and present a traffic hazard.

Councilmember Cich noted that the City is in the process of requesting the support of
Representative Lynch and Senator Dahl in it's efforts to urge the State to review the traffic
conditions and hazards on Hwy. g47; Ramsey residents should join in that effort.

City Council/August 29, 1989
