Conncilmember Peterson stated that he is opposed to spending any more dollars on airport <br />activities until Council has the opportunity to go on record and indicate who supports the <br />airport and who doesn't. <br /> <br />Councilmember DeLuca noted that the City is also waiting for a determination from the <br />Attorney General's office regarding whether land use issues are subject to public <br />referendum, specifically airport zoning. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley suggested that the $30,000 for airport activities be placed in a reserve fund and <br />upon a Council determination regarding the airport, the budget can be amended <br />accordingly. <br /> <br />Sandra Ashley and the Budget Committee were thanked for the hours they spent working <br />on the 1990 budget. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adjourn the <br />special City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson.
