property and he would like to split off the front 2-1/2 acres to give to
his daughter. Mr. Barthold noted that the easement to access the rear
parcel by way of the front parcel is recorded in the deed.

The Commission stated that they would like Mr. Barthold to dedicate an
easement on the northern boundary of the subject parcel for the future
extension of 157th to Hwy. #47; this would insure that proper road frontage
will be available to those parcels in the future.

Mr. Barthold stated that he is not in favor of dedicating a road easement
that would mean a public road would front the two parcels.

The Commission explained that the property may not always be family-owned
and their concern is for emergency access to the parcels and the liability
incurred by granting a subdivision that does not at least address that need
in the future.

Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to
recommend approval of a mini-plat subdivision for Mr. Barthold's 5 acre
parcel located on the west side of Hwy. #47 contingent upon providing a 66'
easement along the southern boundary of parcel 6 of the same auditor's
sub d iv is ion.

Motion carried.
