Motion by Commissioner Zimmerman and seconded by Cox~issioner Howell to <br />recommend approval of the preliminary plat of Voltin's Oak Hill Estates as <br />requested by Mr. Dale Voltin contingent upon compliance with City Engineer's <br />Report dated January 30, 1986. Further, that the Commission recommends a <br />variance be granted to cul-de-sac length. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Commissioner Deener stated that a 66' utility easement <br />along the north end of Lot 4 should be provided and Mr. Voltin was agreeable to <br />that suggestion. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Deemer, Shtmrway, <br />Zimmerman, Howell, Hendriksen and LaDue. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />For Conditional Usa Permit To Or~rata A _Folk Art <br /> <br />Ms. Kempf stated that class size would be 3-6 persons and class frequency would <br />probably be 4 classes a week; class size and frequency is really subject to the <br />demand. With regards to adequate parking, Ms. Kempf stated that she owns the <br />frontage road in front of her house and the driveway is 60' long. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shunway and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to adopt the <br />proposed findings of fact relating to Ms. Kathleen Kempf's request to operate a <br />folk art instruction and supply business from her home at 15220 St. Francis <br />Blvd. N.W. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Shu~way, Deemer, <br />Zimmerman, Hendriksen, Howell and LaDue. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Zimmerman and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />recommend approval of MS. Kathleen Kempf's request for a conditional use permit <br />to operate a folk art instruction and supply business from her home at 15220 <br />St. Francis Blvd. N.W. contingent upon MS. Kempf entering into a conditional <br />use permit agreement with the City. Further, that the following condition be <br />added to the permit agreement: <br /> <br />~hat no retail sales, other than to registered students, be conducted. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
