Subd. <br /> <br />De <br /> <br />Ail exterior wall finishes on any building <br />shall be one or a combination of the <br />following: <br /> <br />a. Face brick. <br /> <br />b. Natural stone. <br /> <br />Ce <br /> <br />Decorative block, if used with brick, <br />stone, or glass. <br /> <br />Specially designed pre-cast concrete <br />units, if the surfaces have been <br />integrally treated with an applied <br />decorative material or texture. <br /> <br />ee <br /> <br />Factory fabricated or pre-engineered <br />steel and finished metal framed panel <br />construction, if the panel materials are <br />any of those named above, glass, pre- <br />finished (other than galvanized iron), <br />or a plastic, and if there is a color <br />retention guarantee of a minimum of <br />twenty (20) years, and if forty-two (42) <br />inch full perimeter frost footings are <br />included. If any metal materials are <br />utilized,.there must not be any exposed <br />fasteners used and guard rails or posts, <br />curbs, or buffer strips must be <br />installed to prevent impact to the <br />building. <br /> <br />The building design should exhibit <br />architectural uniqueness in building lines, <br />shades, and angles to enhance energy <br />conservation and when practical use active or <br />passive solar design. <br /> <br />16 Exterior Maintenance of Buildings <br /> <br />Every exterior wall, foundation and roof of any <br />building or structure shall be reascnably <br />watertight, weathertight and rodent-proof, and <br />shall be kept in a workmanlike state of <br />maintenance and repair. Exterior walls shall be <br />maintained and kept free from dilapidation by <br />cracks, tears or breaks or from deteriorated <br />plaster, stucco, brick, wood or other material <br />that is extensive and suggests neglect. <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br /> <br />
