<br />RAMSEY CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a public hearing on Wednesday, September 5. 1990 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota p-'garding <br />Improvement Project #90-08 (overlay improvement in Woodland Green Addition). <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Alan Pearson <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmembei' Stephen F. DeLuca <br />Counci1member Richard Cich <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />Peter Raatikka, Hakanson Anderson Associates <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the public hearing to order at 7:20 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that the actual project cost was $47,037.22 of which the City is paying one <br />half. The amount remaining to be assessed is $23,518.61. There are 52 units to be assessed for a <br />per unit cost of $452.28. The property owners have 30 days to pay the assessment without <br />incurring any interest or the assessment will be placed on the tax rolls for a period of ten (10) years <br />beginning May of 1991. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. Ben Yunker - 8751 169th Lane N.W. - Mr. Yunker inquired if the affected property owners <br />will receive a notice of the assessments in the mail. Mr. Hartley replied that assessment notices <br />will be mailed to all of the affected property owners. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to adjourn the public <br />hearing for Improvement Project #90-08. <br /> <br />Motion carried. V oring Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cich, DeLuca, Pearson and <br />Peterson.
